Modular Sound Opener

Right now we are in the process of develloping a new maintitel for a future TV format on MDR.
interesting and absolutely uncommon: the opener will allways have a different lenght which means our music must be fully adaptable to this situation. Our solution is a short three note melodic pattern which is moved to different tonal points during the arrangement. Because of its short basic pattern this melody is easily cuttable at any point after tree notes and still remains in your memory as the opener music for this show. Second need we had to find a solution for: The format is showing the past and how things did work then and later informes people how the same subject comes in nowadays. So musically we did arrange the melody in a ‘past time’ sound and after a rough break we put the same thing into a ‘today’ sound.
