This video shows parts of the rehearsal and the final recording, at the Berlin Philharmonic, with Conductor Sir Simon Rattle, of the title music for the top annual Film Awards in Germany (“Lola der Deutschen Filmpreis”). At Loy Production, we are very proud to have composed this melody, one with which almost everyone in Germany is familiar, these awards being the equivalent of the American Oscar ceremony.
We are very proud at Loy Production to have written a melody almost everybody in Germany knows and associates with high class scoring. The theme was composed by Bernhard Eichner and Loy Wesselburg, and orchestrated by Eichner. Of course, it was a great experience to work in partnership with Sir Simon and one of the world’s leading orchestras.
